Another look at our self-sustaining CCTV system in action
Designed, built, and installed by ERS, this setup runs on solar power with battery backup—keeping cameras, NVR, and connectivity running 24/7, even in remote locations.
Real-time monitoring of water levels
Early detection of subsidence
AI-powered alerts straight to engineers’ phones

Built for harsh and hard-to-reach environments, this is smart monitoring you can rely on.
From culverts and reservoirs to tanks, shafts, and other confined spaces—ERS has you covered with specialist rope access and confined space expertise.

ERS was engaged to install CCTV in a challenging environment, 20 metres underground, to monitor ground movement and rising water levels.
Our team designed and delivered a bespoke solution, incorporating AI-driven monitoring to provide real-time alerts for any changes.
Alongside this, ERS supported the engineers with a specialist rescue team, ensuring safety remained the highest priority throughout the operation.
Proud of the team’s expertise, professionalism, and commitment in such a demanding environment.

Our teams have been busy on site supporting a client with the installation of 11kV cables in an underground substation.

By deploying our specialist rescue team, we’ve been able to provide safe entry, continuous environmental monitoring, and, most importantly, peace of mind. The client knows their workforce is protected — and that, in the event of an incident, a highly trained and experienced rescue team is ready to respond immediately.

It’s great to see more organisations recognising the value of dedicated rescue and confined space support as part of safe project delivery.

ERS   were commissioned by the client to identify and verify the location of existing drainage pipework associated with an abandoned service reservoirs. The objective was to determine both the operational flow paths and the structural condition of the drainage infrastructure.

Utilising a range of remote CCTV inspection systems, ERS conducted a comprehensive investigation to trace all pipework, confirm the direction of flow, and assess the integrity of each asset. ERS also provided the necessary technical access and confined-space rescue support to ensure safe and compliant site operations throughout the project.

This work was critical in supporting the client’s compliance with regulatory deadlines imposed by the water authority. ERS INFRASTRUCTURE LTD successfully located all drainage routes and confirmed the position and functionality of each outfall. A detailed survey report was subsequently produced, providing accurate data and recommendations that enabled the client to obtain regulatory approval in line with their project schedule.

Spring 2025

ERS was pleased to collaborate with our client to provide a medical team, while our ERS Infrastructure engineers conducted a detailed survey of a tank and collected floor material samples. The project was highly successful, delivering the essential data our client required to plan their next phase of work. During a previous visit, our survey team completed a comprehensive survey—including CCTV footage, mapping, and reporting—to equip the client with the insights needed for a cost-effective repair strategy.
